How it works
The checker compares each item in your list against a curated database of animal-derived, plant-derived, and "it depends" ingredients — including E-numbers and common aliases. Items we don't recognize are marked as not flagged, which usually means plant-based, but the database can't cover every proprietary additive, so treat borderline cases with care.
